Weston Foods (http://www.westonfoodscanada.ca/) makers of Wonder Bread, Weight Watchers Bread, and many more has launched a new line of Gluten Free products in Canada. They will be in found in the Bakery sections of the grocery stores … not frozen. Anxious to give them a try.
I was at the Atholville Superstore today and noticed that they now have some of the “All But Gluten” products. They had bread, focaccia (sp) and macaroons. They are reduced in price … I believe it was $4.49 for the bread. I didn’t buy any because the bread seemed heavy and exactly like the President’s Choice bread which is also made by Weston. The cookies seemed to be hard as rocks. I mentioned to one of the workers that they should have samples of the cookies to try. Has anyone tried any of these products? Please let us know.
UPDATE …. I just gave in and purchased the All But Gluten Macaroons and they are very good. Also tried the All But Gluten Focaccia a couple weeks ago and it was also very good. Haven’t tried the bread as of yet but would like comments from those that have.
Hi! I found this blog very interesting, though you propose help to ind restaurant and groceries with gluten-free product in New Brunswick. I do the same in Quebec Province (I’m an administrator of http://www.VieSansGluten.ca, we just translate the website in english to help people from NB, NS, Ontario and the rest of Canada to travel gluten-free to quebec province (www.theglutenfreediet.ca). We are the biggest gluten-free website in French Quebec, 100% free. If you like our website, you can tweet about us. It would be nice! ^^
Have a nice day =]
I checked your website and think it is great. I have posted a link to it on our site.
